Born in August 1943, an independent non-executive director of the Company. He has become an independent non-executive director of the Company since September 2006. He has over thirty years' experience in the electronics industry. Mr. WESTERHOF had held senior management positions in the computer, telecommunications and medical systems divisions of Philips, and his last positions in Philips were chief executive officer of Philips Asia (based in Hong Kong and Shanghai) and chief executive officer of Philips North America (based in New York). After his retirement, Mr. WESTERHOF had positions in the Supervisory Board of listed companies in United Kingdom and the Netherlands in the areas of electronics, information and communication technology and medical products and as chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sparta Beheer B.V., a leading football club in the Netherlands with activities in the Netherlands, Mainland China and Hong Kong. Mr. WESTERHOF is currently the director of Cardi-Link, a health and safety company. Mr. WESTERHOF holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and he has also completed Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program and International Senior Management Program.
