TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood Greets Its First International Superstar
(8 February 2013, Hong Kong) – TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings Limited (“TCL Multimedia” or “the Group”, HKSE stock code: 01070) announced that movie star Robert De Niro participated in the most honourable ceremony of hand and foot prints in Hollywood on the 4th of February 2013 in front of the TCL Chinese Theatre, the landmark building which was formerly known as Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. He was the first superstar to leave his foot and hand prints at the theatre after TCL, which is an international electronics brand in China, had renamed it as “TCL Chinese Theatre”.
The Chinese Theatre in Hollywood was established in 1927, and over 200 stars and filmmakers have since left their prints there. They included such world-class Hollywood superstars as Marilyn Monroe, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt ,George Clooney and Hong Kong superstar, Jacky Chan .

After the theatre is renamed, TCL will assist in upgrading all the display facilities such as LCD and LED digital displays, electronic posters and advertising screens in the theatre. In the future, TCL will utilize the world’s most advanced digital display technology and equipments to develop TCL Chinese Theatre into a landmark which blends Hollywood’s history with modern technology.
